I am currently undertaking a Data Science Internship at Share & Repair in Bath, where I apply my experience with technology and quantitative tools to support both data-driven analysis and community engagement initiatives.
My contributions include:
- Data Collection & Analysis – Gather data, clean it up in Python and microsoft sheets, and turn it into insights (instead of just messy tables).
- Qualitative Research – Engaging with participants at workshops, conducting interviews, and observe how people actually behave,because numbers don’t always tell the full story.
- Mixed-Methods Approach – Combining numerical analysis with qualitative feedback to produce a holistic understanding of trends and community needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement –Help run workshops and share findings in a way that makes sense to both participants and the team.
- Technology & Workflow Efficiency – Use digital tools and scripts to make data collection and reporting less painful and more efficient.
This internship is sharpening my analytical and interpersonal skills, while letting me contribute to projects that have a real-world impact on sustainability and community engagement. Basically: using data to do some good.
